Roundabout dog

(Swedish: rondellhund) is a form of street art, which began occurring during the autumn of 2006 in cities and towns all over Sweden. Anonymous people put out homemade dogs, typically made of wood (or sometimes plastic, metal and textile) in roundabouts. A real roundabout dog is made of scrap material. They are usually made of planks, sticks, old rags and boxes, and painted with leftover paint to look like dogs. The roundabout dog moves in by the darkness of the night, placed in a public place, preferably in a roundabout.(read more)

and I make roundabout dogs.

We started April 2007 to contribute to the art of building and designing Roundabout-dogs. Sometimes the dogs end up in a roundabout or in other places. The "Rondellhund.com" studio is located south of Stockholm, Sweden.
